About The Volunteer Way
The Volunteer Way Inc. (TVW) is a volunteer non-profit organization that has been serving people caught in poverty for more than nineteen years. We are committed to the low income and homeless individuals and families in our communities. We are “people helping people” The Volunteer Way.
The Volunteer Way was started nineteen years ago with only one family showing up to ask for help. Since that time we have grown and enlarged to the point that The Volunteer Way and their hunger relief partners now assist an average of 20,000 families each month throughout Florida, with food and personal items to supplement their meager incomes. TVW never charges a fee for the food, personal items, or the products we distribute to the homeless or low-income people, soup kitchens and food pantries that we serve. Today, we distribute over 6.5 million pounds of food every year to the food pantries, soup kitchens, residential programs, seniors, homeless people, families and other charitable organizations.
We are committed to helping all of the homeless and low income people of our communities. We refuse to allow our children and the elderly to go to bed hungry. |
