Moon Lake Mission

Serving the most Vulnerable in our Community

The Pasco County government has enabled The Volunteer Way to offer numerous services to the homeless and low-income individuals in the Moon Lake area.

The Volunteer Way Soup Kitchen is the main service of the Moon Lake Mission.

We offer showers from 9:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Monday–Friday and free clothing in our closet for those in need. We accept and always appreciate clothing donations.

Our soup kitchen, located at 10012 Moon Lake Rd., New Port Richey, FL 34654, is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Other Services Available Include:

Free clothing and free personal and small household items.

The facility also offers an opportunity to take a warm shower to residents of the area who do not have running water.

Alanon meetings are held on the premises, and there is a Chapel that holds services on Sundays and offers pastoral services and Christian counseling.

Once a month, the new Pasco County Mobile Medical Care Unit visits this facility providing free medical checkups and prescriptions to the residents in the area who do not have health insurance.
